So, I stumbled upon this thing called a Pokemon packing simulator the other day, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I’m not really a big card game guy, but I’ve always had a soft spot for Pokemon. I decided to give it a shot, you know, just to see what all the fuss was about.

First, I had to figure out what this simulator even was. It’s basically a website where you can “open” virtual Pokemon card packs without spending any actual money. Sounds pretty harmless, right? Well, I started by picking an expansion – just randomly chose one, didn’t really know the difference. Then I picked a booster pack, again, totally clueless.

I clicked the button to open the pack and boom, there were my virtual cards. I started getting into it, even though I didn’t know half the Pokemon or what any of the stats meant. I started opening more packs. The simulator even throws in those rare, holographic cards once in a while to keep things interesting.

I read somewhere online that there’s like a 0.05% chance of getting something called a “God pack” where every card is super rare. I haven’t gotten one yet, but I’m still holding out hope. Then, I was like, maybe if I open a physical pack a certain way, it’ll be better. I saw some dude online saying you gotta flip the pack around backward before opening it, and it will be a good pack, lol. I tried it, didn’t work. Maybe it only works sometimes, haha.

I also learned that if you play this other game called Pokemon TCG Pocket, you can get free packs there. Apparently, you can get one every 12 hours or something. And you can do some battling in the game too, which I tried, and it was alright. This is like a whole other side to Pokemon that I never knew about. I guess if you play Pokemon TCG Pocket regularly, you can get a free pack every 12 hours without having to speed up the timer. And by opening packs, you can use something called a Wonder Pick to grab cards from other players’ packs, which sounds pretty cool. It’s a whole system, man.

So, here’s the kicker: I’ve been spending way more time on this simulator than I’d like to admit. It’s just so satisfying to see what cards you get, even if they’re not real. It’s kind of like gambling, but without the risk of losing your rent money. I’m telling you, this Pokemon packing simulator is a dangerous rabbit hole, but it’s been a fun way to kill some time. Now I know why people like opening packs so much. I think I’m going to keep messing around with this Pokemon packing simulator and see if I can get one of those crazy rare packs.

If you are bored sometime, try it out, it’s kind of fun, and you don’t have to spend any real money, unless you want to, I guess. Just don’t get too addicted like me!

Things I Noticed During My Time Playing

  • It’s free to use, which is great because I don’t want to spend money on actual cards.
  • You can choose from different expansions and booster packs, but I don’t really know the difference yet.
  • Rare cards pop up sometimes, which is exciting.
  • There’s a chance to get a “God pack” where every card is rare, but it’s super unlikely.
  • You can get free packs in Pokemon TCG Pocket by playing regularly.
  • Opening packs can be addictive, even if they’re virtual.
