Okay, so today I wanted to look up the basketball schedule for Grand Ledge, ’cause my nephew’s trying out for the team and I wanna show some support, you know? It’s a big deal for him.
First, I just fired up my trusty old laptop and opened up my browser. Typed in “Grand Ledge basketball schedule” into the search bar. Bam! Tons of results, but I wanted the official stuff, not some random blog.
- Started searching: Used my browser to find information.
- Filtered results: Ignored unofficial sources, wanted the real deal.
I scrolled through a few pages. Saw some mentions of clinics – one for 4th to 6th graders, another for K-4th girls, and one for K-3rd boys. That’s pretty cool they have stuff for the younger kids. Found some pages about the 2023-2024 boys varsity schedule and then another one for 2024-2025 schedule. Hmm, options, options.
Clicked on one that seemed legit. It had info on the Comets, their opponents, dates, and times. Perfect! Even had a phone number listed – (517) 627-5194. I think it’s for the varsity team, because it showed up a few times.
- Explored details: Found info about clinics for different age groups and genders.
- Navigated pages: Checked out schedules for different seasons.
- Gathered info: Noticed opponents, dates, times, and contact number.
I also noticed they do some other stuff like a competitive cheer team for 6th to 8th graders, and a holiday cheer clinic. And they have something called “MS Strength.” Sounds intense! Maybe I should hit that up, haha!
Anyway, I managed to find the schedule I was looking for. Looks like the team’s got a pretty packed season. They’re playing at home, away, and even some neutral games. Their record for this coming year is 3-5, with a 0.375 winning percentage so far. They’ve won 2 and lost 2 in their league, making them 3rd in the Capital Area – Blue. 440 points for and 469 points against. They are on a one-game losing streak. Well, now I have what I need!
- Discovered more: Found info on other activities like cheerleading and strength training.
- Achieved goal: Successfully located the desired basketball schedule.
- Analyzed record: Looked into their current record and league standings.
Wrap Up
So yeah, that’s how I spent part of my morning. Now I can plan out which games to go to and cheer on my nephew. Go Comets!
