Okay, so here’s my little adventure from today. You won’t believe the headache I went through. The title of my post is “that’s not good nyt crossword”, and let me tell you, it was a journey.
So, this morning, I started my day like any other, with a cup of coffee and the New York Times crossword. I opened the paper to August 10th, 2024 edition, feeling all smart and ready to conquer the puzzle. Everything was going smoothly until I hit this one clue: “That’s not good!” My mind just went blank. I mean, seriously, “That’s not good”?
Stuck in a Rut
I tried every word I could think of that fits that description. Nothing. I scribbled, I erased, I paced around my living room. I even googled for some help, but most sites just gave me teasers, not the actual answer. I saw lots of phrases like, “We’ve prepared a crossword clue titled ‘That’s not good!’ from The New York Times Crossword for you, find answer below!” or “Here is the answer for the crossword clue ‘That’s not good!’ featured in New York Times puzzle on August 10.” But they never just gave the darn answer!
- I checked multiple websites.
- I read through lists of “Possible Answers for ‘That is not good'”.
- I even asked my neighbor, who’s a crossword fanatic, but he was stumped too.
After what felt like hours, I found a website that finally spilled the beans. “The answer to ‘That’s not good!’ in the NYT crossword for August 10, 2024 is YIKES (Across 27).” YIKES! Of course! It was so obvious once I saw it. I can’t believe I didn’t think of that. I mean one site actually said “We would like to thank you for choosing this website to find the answers of That’s not good! Crossword Clue”.
Sweet Relief
I filled in the answer, and finally, the rest of the puzzle started to fall into place. It was such a relief. One little word, “YIKES,” and I was back on track. Another site mentioned “Below are the answers to the That’s not good! crossword clue. If your initial solution didn’t match the clue, don’t fret! The correct answers are provided below. In case of multiple answers.” Multiple answers? Thankfully, I didn’t have to deal with that today.
So, yeah, that was my morning. A bit of a rollercoaster, but I got there in the end. If you ever get stuck on a crossword, just remember, sometimes the simplest answers are the hardest to see. And maybe, just maybe, the answer is “YIKES.”
