Okay, so, I’ve been trying to keep up with the Ridgeline basketball team this season. It’s always a hassle to find their schedule, you know? It’s never in just one place, so I decided to just make my own and keep track of it all.
First, I started by just looking all over the internet. Just simple searches, you know. I wanted the most up-to-date schedule I could find. There are a few different sites that have some info, but none had everything that I need. It took quite a bit of searching, but I found a few that were helpful, but it took some time to find a few good ones, the search wasn’t hard, just time-consuming, I hope I can find a website that has everything in one place in the future, that would be much easier.
Then, once I had a few different schedules pulled up, I started to compare them. You wouldn’t believe how many different versions are out there! It is crazy, it was a bit of work to match them all up, but I think I got it figured out. Start times were listed on most of them, which is super helpful. If you’re like me, you gotta know when to tune in, right?
I saw that someone mentioned a broadcast of the Riverhawks vs Fremont Wolves game that was supposed to start at 6:50 p.m. I made a note of that, because I definitely want to watch that one.
My Game Plan
So, I basically just took all the info I found, made sure it matched up and then started keeping track of the scores as they happened. I jotted everything down in a simple format:
- Opponent
- Date
- Time
- Score (when available)
It’s not fancy, but it works. I just wanted something simple to look at. And, let me tell you, it’s been way easier to follow along this way. I’m not missing games anymore because I can’t find the schedule, and I’m keeping track of how they are doing. I really get into it and it’s fun to see the results come in, it makes me more excited for the next game.
Honestly, it’s a little bit of a pain to do it myself, but it’s worth it. I like being organized, you know? And I feel like I’m really following the team now. Maybe next season, someone will have all this info in one place, but for now, this works for me. It took some doing, but it is really simple when I look at the finished product. I might keep doing this even if there is a website with everything, it has been fun to do.
