Okay, so I recently had to figure out seating for an event at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. I figured I’d share my experience to maybe save someone else the headache I went through.
First off, I started by looking at the center. I wanted to find the best seat.
So I went to look for the center’s seating charts. I needed to see the layout for the event I was interested in. It turns out, the KeyBank Center hosts a bunch of different stuff, from hockey games to concerts. That’s when it started to get tricky because the seating arrangements change depending on the event.
After browsing a bit, I finally got a hold of some interactive seating charts. This was a lifesaver. I could click around, zoom in, and really get a feel for where each seat was located. I highly recommend finding these if you’re planning to go.
What I Learned About the Best Seats
- Center Ice Seats (Sections 104-106, 116-118): If you’re going for a hockey game, especially a Buffalo Sabres game, these are apparently the prime spots. You’re right in the middle of the action, and you can see everything clearly.
Other Things I Found Out
- Bag Policy: This is important! They’re super strict. No regular bags, backpacks, or purses are allowed. Only tiny clutches (4 x 6 x 1.5 inches) can get in, and they’ll still check those. If you need a diaper bag or something for medical reasons, they’ll make an exception, but you’ll have to go through extra security.
- Buffalo Sabres Games: I also learned that the Sabres are a big deal! They’ve been around since 1970 and are usually in the playoffs. So, if you’re catching a game, expect a pretty exciting atmosphere.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure with the KeyBank Center seating chart. I hope this helps someone out there. It’s a cool place, but figuring out the seating can be a bit of a hassle. Good luck!
