You wanna know about that lightning game tonight? That hockey game, you know? My grandson, he’s always going on about it. Says I gotta watch it. He’s a good boy, but sometimes I just don’t get these young folks and their games.
But hey, I try to keep up. So, this lightning game tonight, it’s a big deal, I guess. Everyone’s talking about it. Even old Mrs. Henderson down the street, her son’s a big fan. He’s got that blue and white flag hanging outside his house all the time. Makes the whole street look like a party’s going on.
Where to Watch That Lightning Game
Now, where to watch this thing? That’s what I been trying to figure out. My grandson, he says it’s on the TV, but we got so many darn channels these days, it makes my head spin. He showed me this thing called the… what was it? Fan-something? FanDuel? Yeah, FanDuel Sports Network. Says it’s on there.
- FanDuel Sports Network
- That other one, TNT?
- And some thing called Max? What’s that?
He says it’s all over Florida. North and Central, whatever that means. I just know we live in Florida, and that’s all that matters. Sunshine and oranges, that’s what I always say.
And get this, he says you can watch it on your phone! Can you believe that? Watching a whole hockey game on that tiny little screen. My eyes ain’t what they used to be. I can barely see the numbers to dial, let alone a bunch of fellas skating around on ice. He says it’s an “app.” The FanDuel Sports Network app. Kids these days and their apps… Lord have mercy.
He tried to show me how to use it on my phone. But I told him, “Honey, I’m happy with my old TV. Big screen, just like I like it.”
Who’s Playin’ in This Lightning Game Tonight?
So, who are these fellas playing, anyway? I hear them talking about the Capitals. Sounds important. Must be some big shots from Washington, huh? Coming all the way down here to play hockey. In this heat! They must be crazy. Brendan something and Jennifer something are gonna talk about the game. Good for them, I guess. Talking about it is better than playing in the heat.
It is at 7:30 pm tonight. I asked my grandson “what time should I watch the lightning game tonight“, and he told me that. He also said something about someone named Ian. I do not know this Ian.
And then there’s some fella named Boqvist. Sounds like a mouthful, don’t it? Apparently, he’s hurt. Upper body. Hope he’s alright. Playing hockey looks rough. All that pushing and shoving. I’d rather be sitting here on my porch, sipping sweet tea.
They say he’s out for the game tonight. Poor fella. And another one, Moser. He’s hurt too. Lower body this time. Seems like these boys get hurt a lot. Maybe they should take up knitting instead. Less dangerous.
Someone mentioned the Florida Panthers. They got something to do with this lightning game tonight. I don’t know. It’s all too much for me. I just want to watch the game and maybe see a good fight or two. That’s the best part, ain’t it?
Just Wanna Watch the Game
Anyway, I’m gonna try to watch this lightning game tonight. For my grandson. He gets so excited about it. And who knows, maybe I’ll even enjoy it. Maybe I’ll become a big hockey fan. You never know. I hope there’s someone at this lightning game tonight who can tell me the score. I just want the Tampa Bay Lightning scores!
But if it gets too confusing, I might just switch over to my stories. Those are always good. And they don’t involve any ice or pucks or whatever they call those things.
So, yeah, that’s all I know about this lightning game tonight. It’s a big to-do, apparently. Lots of folks will be watching. Me included, I suppose. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go find that remote and see if I can find that Fan-dilly channel my grandson was talking about. Wish me luck!
